BUDGET FRIENDLY VALENTINE'S GIFT GIVING IDEAS

Looking for some fun and inexpensive ideas for gift giving on Valentine's Day?

Here are a few that are easy on the budget but full of heart!

How fun was it to find mushrooms in the produce section, packaged in adorable pink containers! 🍄

Produce containers filled with heart-shaped brownies.

I’ve come across fun and creative packaging in the items I buy at the grocery store! Before you toss that produce container, could it be repurposed?

These cute little red and white striped boxes were in the Christmas clearance isle of JoAnn Fabrics several years ago!

I always shop the after-Christmas clearance isles for red and white items that could be repurposed for Valentine's Day. (and sometimes 4th of July!)

And now that the color pink has found it's way into many holidays, including Christmas, the hunt is even more fun!

Many, many years ago, I posted a fun little tutorial on using up candy canes for Valentine's Day. Now a simple Google search will find many posts from other bloggers and influencers on the now-ever so popular candy cane hearts on a stick.

In fact, with a little Pinterest search, I found my photos from the original post! circa mid 2000's—gotta love Pinterest!

Mini candy canes, white chocolate chips or almond bark, and lollipop sticks.
There are tons of how-tos on the Internet.

Such a great way to use up left-over candy cane's and white chocolate chips from holiday baking.

And one last idea! Tic Tac's are so fun to decorate for any holiday, but here is a little inspiration pic for Valentine's Day. These were made about the same time as the candy cane hearts... But still a fun little budget-friendly gift-giving idea!

Tic Tac's wrapped in a slip of scrapbook paper or fabric and tied with a ribbon!
