❤ Edge-to-edge quilting is now $0.02 per square inch for most designs with a $35 minimum charge. More dense and intricate designs will be $0.025 per square inch.

I will let you know once I receive your quilting request form if you've chosen a $0.025 design.

❤ Batting is no longer included with the quilting.

❤ I am only keeping 96" natural 80/20 batting at $12 a yard on hand. If you'd like a different kind of batting or have a larger quilt. Be sure to state this on your quilt request form; I'll be in touch with availability, cost, and a timeline.

+ Your quilt is trimmed 1/4"-1/2" from the edge, and all remaining fabric is pressed, trimmed, folded, packaged, and returned to you, ready to go into your fabric stash.

+If your backing is Minky, the quilt will not be trimmed.

PREPARE YOUR QUILT

Preparing your quilt top for quilting:

At this time, I am not accepting any quilt tops with appliqué, buttons, or other embellishments.

Please do the following before sending your quilt:

❤ Press all your seams flat. Whether you press your seams open or to one side, make sure they're flat on the back, especially at intersections.

❤ Remove all thread tails and stray threads on the quilt top.

❤ Do a victory lap: stay stitch 1/8" around the entire outer edge, especially if your quilt doesn't have a border.

Do not baste your quilt. If you have questions about this, please contact me before shipping your quilt.

Important information on the backing:

Please make sure your backing is 8” larger than your quilt top. [4" larger on each side] This means if your quilt top is 40” x 60”, your backing should be 48” x 68”.

Remember to square up your backing. If your backing is in two pieces or more, make sure all the edges are trimmed.

If your quilt top has a top or backing that is directional, please note that on the quilt request form. It is also appreciated if you could either put a safety pin at the top edge of your quilt or mark it with a fabric pen.

DROP OFF - OR - SHIP

Dropping your quilt off:

If you're local, I offer a convenient 'porch drop-off' system for your quilt. Our large covered porch provides protection from the elements, and our security system notifies us when a quilt is dropped off.

Just shoot me a text ahead of time and let me know you're dropping off a quilt.

I prioritize your quilts and never leave them unattended on the longarm while quilting. Since I quilt most days and my husband's work schedule varies—sometimes requiring him to sleep during the day—this system ensures a smooth and secure drop-off process.

When your quilt is finished, I'll contact you and arrange for a time to leave it on the porch for you to pick up.

Shipping your quilt:

1. Complete the Quilting Request form. Please be sure to note any questions.

Your quilt will be shipped to Sandy, Oregon, zip code 97055. Once I receive your quilt request form, I'll be in touch with my address. Expect an email 1-2 business days after I receive your quilt request form (I don't check my emails on weekends).

2. Please package your quilt top and backing in a plastic bag to protect them from the elements. Be sure to include a sheet of paper inside the bag with your name and return address. This helps ensure your quilt can be returned to you in case the box is damaged during shipping.

Return shipping of your quilt:

Your quilt will be shipped back to you in a plastic bag inside a shipping box. I will also provide you with tracking information upon request.

Return shipping is billed to you and is part of your invoice. Most likely, your quilt will ship USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground. These are generally the least expensive, and the arrival time is usually within 5 business days.

If you desire insurance coverage, you will need to let me know, and I will add the extra coverage at the time of shipping and include it in your invoice.
