Whether you drop off or ship your quilt, rest assured I will handle it with great care. I’ll notify you upon arrival and reach out before quilting to confirm details.
If you're local, I offer a convenient 'porch drop-off' system for your quilt. Our large covered porch provides protection from the elements, and our Ring doorbell system notifies us when a quilt is dropped off.
Most days we’re home when you drop off your quilt. I prioritize your quilts and never leave them unattended on the longarm while quilting. Since I quilt most days and my husband's work schedule varies—sometimes requiring him to sleep during the day—this system ensures a smooth and secure drop-off process.
Just shoot me a text ahead of time and let me know you're dropping off a quilt.
When your quilt is finished, I'll contact you and arrange for a time to leave it on the porch for you to pick up.
Shipping your quilt:
Your quilt will be shipped to Sandy, Oregon, zip code 97055.
1. Complete the Quilting Request form. Please be sure to note any questions.
2. Please package your quilt top and backing in a plastic bag to protect them from the elements. Be sure to include a sheet of paper inside the bag with your name and return address. This helps ensure your quilt can be returned to you in case the box is damaged during shipping.
Return shipping of your quilt:
Your quilt will be shipped back to you in a plastic bag inside a shipping box. I will also provide you with tracking information upon request.
Return shipping is billed to you and part of your invoice. Most likely, your quilt will ship USPS Ground Advantage. This is generally the least expensive, includes $100 worth of insurance coverage, and the arrival time is usually 2–5 business days.
If you desire more than the included $100 insurance coverage, you will need to let me know, and I will add the extra coverage at the time of shipping and include it in your invoice.
